We Have Stars Yet We Live In Darkness...

I know, I know.... It's been ages I posted anything, well I'm back now. Hope you missed me.

Meanwhile, a lot of things and events have happened these past months. My favorite being the just concluded Rio2016 Olympic Games... Where The Giant of Africa(Nigeria) brought home just one medal, 'bronze to be specific'.

Now I'm back I think this is what I'm gonna start with cos I really do have plenty to say about this event.

Let me start by appreciating our Federal Government and Ministry of Sports for all they did. I was really impressed when I saw that Nigeria partook in so many events this year. Example, swimming, boat rowling etc. I say well-done...

But.......
Your good job ended up being a big mess, and what's more irritating is the fact that nothing is being done to clean it up.

Our Leaders Break Rules, Yet They Expect Us To Abide To Them... We Say No More!!!!

So the other day I was so bored and decided to go see a movie. For those in Calabar here in Nigeria know that a gate fee of 100 naira (about $50cent) is paid before entering Marina Resort.

As I was saying, I got the gate of the resort, queued up awaiting my turn, all of a sudden from no where a government registered car drove all the way from the back of the motor queue and drove right through into the complex with stopping or paying the said gate fee.

To my surprise the fee collectors at the gate cheered him instead of doing their jobs.

Buhari Has Embarrassed Us... He Has Gone Against His Change Agenda.

Nigeria is such a shameless country.
And it's so sad to see President Buhari who won our hearts and came into power with all this great plans of change for Nigeria going against his own vision.

The idea of him traveling abroad for a medical vacation is so embarrassing.

The plan of even going on vacation abroad is also indeed embarrassing.

It's a big set back on his anticipated change agenda.

If Our Leaders Listen And Answer Our Cries, Things Wouldn't Fall Apart. Nigeria Will Be A Better Place

The current situation in the Niger Delta is so sad and unbecoming. The bombing of pipelines by Niger Delta militants is having a great setback on our economical growth. It is no news that our 2016 budget is still dependent on oil and gas explorations, even despite Buhari's change agenda for our country's economy, which was aimed at diversifying from oil and gas. We are still greatly dependent on it. But that's not the aim of this post.

Back to the so called Niger Delta militants causing havoc;

Fulani Herdsmen Crisis; Where Are Our So Called Leaders? NLC? Civil Organizations? ETC..

The NLC will go on strike for unnecessary issues when they are more important ones the people of Nigeria face. Issues that seems meaningless, but is it slowly becoming an epidemic, killing our people silently.

This is the issue of the Fulani Herdsmen.

Just about two weeks ago “the invasion and senseless slaughter of persons in Ukpabi, Nimbo community of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State by unknown herdsmen”, was reported. Many communities, particularly in the North Central and Southern states, have recently faced severe attacks allegedly perpetrated by Fulani herdsmen.

The attack was reported to have been spear-headed by over 500 unidentified Fulani herdsmen in Nimbo,Enugu State.

This mayhem led to the loss of over 50 lives, while over 2000 persons were displaced and property worth millions of Naira destroyed, including Houses and churches burnt down.

Enough Is Enough With Lazy Leaders; They Should Stop Pulling Us Down And Should Put Nigeria First Instead.

If you are in Nigeria then you should have seen the headlines on some newspapers and it only shows how wicked those we call leaders and put our trust in are the same people destroying/killing us.

If you have not seen the headline I am referring to, here is what I am talking about;

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, arrested Hassan Tukur over the allegedly purchased of refurbished aircraft for Nigerian AirForce.

Hassan Tukur was a former Principal Private Secretary, PPS, to former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Tukur was picked up by operatives of the commission yesterday evening in his Abuja residence on the allegation that he was involved in the purchase of refurbished aircraft for Nigerian Airforce, NAF.

According to the Pilot newspaper, the memo was allegedly written by Tukur to supply brand new aircraft but in return, he allegedly supplied refurbished ones to the Nigerian Air Force.

Buhari The Man For Nigeria. #YES To Fuel Susidy Removal #NO To Salary Increment #Let Buhari Work

I don't mean to sound bias or one sided, but some Nigerians could just be hypocrites and so annoying. Yes am talking about the current outburst by Nigerians concerning the removal of oil subsidy.

When Jonathan did it no one said anything, He removed a percentage of the fuel subsidy and foolishly raised the minimum wage. Yet we saw no result, as the money from the percentage of fuel subsidy he removed was not used for us and is still not accounted for. Also under his regime the funds in the nations excess crude account vanished, yet no one went on strike. It was as if he blindfolded us. But that’s past.

It was stated that Nigeria spends about $30billion annually on fuel subsidy, which is enough to build over 15 standard refineries, yet we have just 3 refineries that are not even up to standard, talk less of it functioning or operating at 40% capacity.
