Buhari Has Embarrassed Us... He Has Gone Against His Change Agenda.

Nigeria is such a shameless country. 

And it's so sad to see President Buhari who won our hearts and came into power with all this great plans of change for Nigeria going against his own vision.

The idea of him traveling abroad for a medical vacation is so embarrassing. 

The plan of even going on vacation abroad is also indeed embarrassing. 

It's a big set back on his anticipated change agenda.

According to reports; A medical expert, Dr. Osahon Enabulele, who underwent a successful surgical operation for his ear infection in Nigeria earlier this year, has condemned President Muhammadu Buhari's decision to seek treatment for his persistent ear infection at a London hospital despite the presence of over 250 ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialists in the country and a National Ear Centre in Kaduna State.

In an open letter to the president, Mr. Enabulele described his president's decision to go on a 10-day medical vacation to London as a mockery of the change mantra of his administration and that of the professional competence of Nigerian doctors.

This indeed is very degrading and shows that Nigeria is indeed an underdeveloped country.

If our president, the number one citizen does not see the value and potential in Nigeria and Nigerians, then what does he expect the rest of the world to think?

What color is he painting Nigeria and Nigerians?

He banned the importation of most commodities, so that our economy will improve. Yet his importing medical services. Yes, despite the fact that he is the one going there, but it's as good as saying his importing medical services, especially when Nigeria is fully equipped with professionals and medical facilities in that field.

If you want to show the world that there is potential in Nigeria, then you shouldn't be so dependent on them, especially for things that can be done and gotten here in Nigeria.

Let's say he was just going on vacation abroad. My question is: Why abroad? Don't we have nice places in Nigeria where a person can go to rest and rejuvenate? 

Example: Calabar. People come from all over to enjoy the tranquility and hospitality in calabar.

Yet Mr President prefers to leave his house, go outside far away from home just to eat the same meal found in his backyard.

Am sorry to say this but Mr President has really let us down. He has gone against his vision of his widely accepted change agenda.

He has demoted Nigeria, cos if the number one citizen does not trust and believe in our potential then no one will ever see potential in us.

If Mr President is afraid of eating from his own pot, then no one will want to eat from it.

If a mother does not believe and trust in her child, then no one will ever believe and trust that child.

Lead by example...
