Why Do The Masses Get Punished For Crimes And Politicians Are Innocent Of The Same Crime

In this 21st century we still live an archaic life. Obviously this is why our leaders extort us and we praise them instead of seeing them for who they truly are. Tragedy struck Sunday at Obio Ibet Nkanika village in Oruk Anam local government, Akwa Ibom State, as angry mob set ablaze a motor-cycle thief.

The alleged thief, who was in company of his gang, specializes in snatching of motor-cycles from residents of Abak and Oruk Anam local government areas.

They carried out the act at gun-point in Obio Ibet Nkanika village in Oruk Anam local government.
However nemesis caught up with him in Obio Ndot, near Abak when he was arrested with the motor-cycle, while his other gang member escaped.

The thief who could not be identified before he was beaten to death by angry mob and then set ablaze before police could intervene, had confessed committing the crime.

The thief after being beaten to a pulp, tyre hung on him and petrol poured, was set ablaze by the angry mob.

Yes he committed a crime, but did he deserve such a dreadful fate?

Please indulge me for a while.
We are all humans, so let’s look at it from this point of view. It’s a fact that no being born on earth will ever dream of becoming an arm robber, ritualist etc. Even the man, who was beaten to death and burnt. He must have come from a poor home, with the dream of becoming a lawyer, doctor or even an engineer. A dream to live a good and successful life. But that’s a dream hard to achieve in Nigeria.

If  those who go to universities and graduate with good results still become taxi/bus drivers, how will a man who has lived all his life in the village and probably did not go to school achieve his dreams?

This village man votes in a people to lead him locally (chairmen/counselors), state (governors) and federal (president), he also votes in representatives in the state house and upper houses (Senate and House of Representatives) but all they do is neglect him.

So he turns to crime to survive, to feed his family, which is obviously a bad path. But what was he supposed to do? Watch his family starve? NO!!!

Our government, leaders and representatives have to put the needs and welfare of its masses first or get ready to see crime peak. Why? Because crime is the fastest and easiest way to survive.

They say Nigeria does not have money, yet those in power are never broke.

All our leaders are civilized robbers.
Yes, they rob us right under our nose. I say all because even the ones that act all holy are also dirty. If they were clean they will speak for the truth, instead of turning a blind eye. They see and know the truth, but they don’t do or say anything. They siphon money meant for the masses, leaving us to suffer and starve to death.

Our greedy politicians are responsible for the high crime rates we face, as their actions push us to criminal ways just to survive.

In Summary; our leaders are thieves; they rob us daily and in every way possible.
Yet they are not beaten or burnt alive, neither are they prosecuted.

We want CHANGE!!!

We want equal RIGHTS!!!

No one has two heads…….

The Real Nigeria!!!
