The Never Ending Epidemic; 'CORRUPTION'

It's so hilarious how our government contradicts itself.

We hear about change and the fight against corruption, still those in power and in the position to fight corruption are CORRUPT.

Imagine;
A system where high ranking military officials are criminals.
A system where our leaders are corrupt.
A system where the boss of our anti-financial crime and corruption body is a thief.
A system where judges take bribe.

What type of system is that, if not one where the epidemic called corruption is at it's peak?

  • Our president say's his fighting corruption, yet so far, two of his ministers Amaechi and Fayemi are still being investigated on corruption charges.

  • Top military officials took bites out of the $2.5bn meant for arms. Leaving our soldiers naked in the fight against terrorism.

  • A warrant of arrest has been placed for our ex Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) boss Ibrahim Lamorde for alleged financial crimes summing up to 1 trillion Naira.

  •  Thousands of Naira is paid into a judge's account, but no they say, it's not bribe, "It's just a donation".

Who are they fooling?

With all these, obviously seeing as there is a corrupt person in every position of power, it's simple for one to say our system and government is one where corruption is a never ending epidemic. At least not for now.

As long as we are still being led by this generation of old greedy and corrupt folks, corruption will keep eating deep...
