Our Country's Situation Means Nothing To Some Of Our Leaders. Why? Politics Comes First...

Governor Segun Mimiko of Ondo State yesterday, on behalf of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors, launched  a fresh initiative to save Senator Ali Modu Sheriff from being humiliated out as National Chairman of the PDP.

Mimiko, who is also the chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, invited some former ministers in the cabinet of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan to a meeting to beg them to accept Sheriff who was picked by PDP governors as the party’s new national  chairman.

Many influential members of the PDP, particularly ministers in the Jonathan Administration, are uncomfortable with Sheriff’s leadership of the party, and are threatening to dump the party if the governors’ decision is not reversed.

The party’s Board of Trustees (BoT) is not disposed to confirming Sheriff’s nomination either.

Here is the interesting part:



A well placed party source told The Nation News that: “In the last 72 hours, Mimiko has been personally reaching out to all the aggrieved ex-Ministers, state chairmen of PDP, Senators, members of the House of Representatives and members of the Board of Trustees(BOT). -(Our Time)

“Yesterday, 19th February 2016, a chartered jet was provided by Mimiko to bring the aggrieved ex-Ministers to Abuja but some of them shunned the sudden invitation. A delegation led by ex-Minister of Special Duties, Tanimu Turaki (SAN), however, left for Akure. -(Our Funds)

“Mimiko is trying to pacify all groups in order to allow Sheriff to be in charge. He does not want the crisis in the party to degenerate further.

Obviously He doesn't mind that His people and Nigeria is fast degenerating.
 
A Man the people voted for to lead. Instead of leading us, He is wasting our time and funds..

Crime in Ondo State is on the rise.

Just a month ago it was reported that 150 Suspected Boko Haram Terrorists were arrested In the State.

Also, last week an Ondo state man raped his stepdaughter and is still MIA.

His State is in crisis and Our country is slowly degenerating, but no, Politics comes first.
Our deteriorating state will be fast-tracked, thanks to some of our incompetent Leaders.

Nigeria as a country obviously mean nothing to them, because, Political Parties is all that matter...

We need true dedicated leaders!!!
